Missions

In Acts 1:8, Jesus said that his followers should be his witnesses “in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the Earth.”

What does that mean for us at Crossgate Church? It means that we intentionally endeavor to reach our neighbors and the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Locally, we conduct and support numerous ministries geared toward that end—for example, feeding the homeless, neighborhood events and evangelism, community prayer walks, and partnerships with local and state mission organizations.

Globally, we have sent full-time missionary families across the globe, and we also send short term missions teams overseas to make disciples for Jesus Christ.

As an example, we partner with Amazon Outreach Ministries and send a team from Crossgate to the Amazon River each Summer.
