After an early retirement in 1999, God called Les to Hot Springs, where he has spent the last 21 years serving as a volunteer at Crossgate Church. Les has served in many areas of ministry during that time such as leading our bank refinance team, directing various fundraising campaigns, managing the coffee shop, serving as interim business manager, serving on the executive team, participating on mission trips, directing our lead-pastor search teams, chairing the Learn & Play preschool board, teaching financial classes, serving as a trustee, leading our guest greeting team, serving as a LifeGroup leader, D-Group leader and as a Crossgate elder.
Les enjoys serving in ministry, watching Dallas Cowboys and Razorback football and scuba-diving around the world. He also enjoys fishing (Les fished professionally for seven years on the B.A.S.S circuit). Les is married to Mary and has one daughter Dorothy Jet Patterson.
