Kids / 1st - 6th grade
In our preschool ministry, we are on a mission to help kids discover the truth found in God’s word through center-based learning environments, trusted volunteers, and a solid Bible curriculum.
Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 10:30 am in our Preschool Area, located on the Main Level of our campus.
During the school year on Wednesday nights, preschool meets from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the Preschool Area.
Our purpose is to make more and better disciples for Jesus Christ and that begins with our kids ministry. Through large group worship and lesson, small group time and Wednesday night station based learning, your child will begin to build the biblical foundation they need to grow in their faith.
Our Crossgate Kids minister to families with children in 1st - 6th Grade, and our classrooms are located on the lower level. NOTE: 1st - 6th Grade meets only during the 11:00 am service on Sunday mornings.
All 1st - 6th Graders are invited to join us each Sunday and Wednesday.
This year in Crossgate Kids, our theme is "To Know God and Make Him Known." Our prayer is that every child will grow in a personal relationship with Jesus and boldly share His love with others.
Throughout the fall semester, kids will discover who wrote the Bible and why God's Word is trustworthy, journey through the Book of Acts to learn how the early church began and how God used ordinary people to do extraordinary things, and finish the year with a 40-Day Challenge designed to help them build a daily habit of spending time with God through His Word.
Safety is most important to us because we know it's most important to you. All Crossgate Kids volunteers must pass a background check and are trained to ensure your child's safety in all situations. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up.
Our Children's Ministry volunteers are family. We recognize the importance of teaching children the love of Christ. Every weekend, we have the opportunity to grow in our own walk with Jesus by the childlike faith that our children demonstrate.
