Bags & Bibles

Embrace 1:27 is sponsoring a church-wide Bags & Bibles drive starting Sunday, July 5th and will conclude on Sunday, July 26th. Our purpose is to collect Bags (duffle bags, messenger bags, etc.) and Bibles for children in foster care.

These Bags can be small duffle bags, sports drawstring type bags, backpacks, etc. and Bibles for children or teens, NAS, NIV or ESV versions are preferred.

We will begin collecting these items on Sundays, July 5th – July 26th at the front doors of the church from Noon until 1:00 pm. You can simply drive up and members of our Embrace 1:27 team will be available to pickup your items. You can also drop off your items Monday through Thursday, beginning July 6th through July 23rd at the church between the hours of 9:00 am and Noon. There will be a cart placed outside the front doors where you can place your donated items. Our team will make sure they are safely put inside the church doors throughout the morning.

Also, a quick reminder the Crossgate will be hosting an informational meeting for The CALL of Garland County and Hot Spring counties on Tuesday, August 4th at 6:00 pm. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about foster care or adoption. We will be presenting The CALL with the donated Bags & Bibles at this informational meeting.
