“Ephesians: A Missionary Heart”

Main Text: Ephesians 3:1-13

1) A missionary heart knows that

 can point to
the  
[Eph. 1:1, Col. 1:24-29; John 15:20]

“Every Christian here is either a missionary or an imposter…You either try to spread abroad the kingdom of Christ, or else you do not love him at all. It cannot be that there is a high appreciation of Jesus and a totally silent tongue about him.” – C.H. Spurgeon

2) A missionary heart knows the

 of the Gospel.  

3) A missionary heart is

 in God’s  grace.
[Eph. 3:7-8; 1 Cor. 15:9-10; Romans 11:13]

“Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and untraceable his ways!” [Romans 11:33]

4) A missionary heart

 God’s  with others.
[Eph. 3:8-9]

5) A missionary heart has a

 view and a  love for the church.
[Eph. 3:10-11; 1 Peter 1:10-12; Eph. 2:19-22]

Are there angels in our outfield?
a. Principalities & Powers= Angelic beings created by God.
b. Angels are created beings & are NOT

[Job 38:4-7]
c. Angels  at the repentance of a lost sinner. [Luke 15:10]
d. Suggested they watch over the [1 Cor. 11:9-10]
What about evil angels?
a. Satan has , but not wisdom.
b. Angels praise the mystery,  demons it.

6) A missionary heart stands

 in prayer.
[Eph. 3:10-11; 1 Peter 1:10-12; Eph. 2:19-22]
