Survey of the New Testament
January 18 - May 17 | Crossgate Campus
3100 East Grand Avenue, Hot Springs, Hot Springs National Park, AR, USA
This Spring, we will continue “Telling God’s Story” as we overview the New Testament. We will see how Jesus fulfills expectations created in the Old Testament, some with further development during the Intertestamental Period (400-6 BC).
Also, we will learn how the gospel stories and teachings came to be the major focus of the New Testament. Further, we will study how the apostle Paul and others were instrumental in the establishment of churches, resulting in the rapid spread of the “good news” throughout the known world of that day and beyond.
We will use the same book as the Fall Semester. There will be some available for those who have not purchased a book yet. The book cost is $30.00 and will be available the first night of class (cash or check only).
